With the Jordaan Experience we let you discover a piece of authentic Amsterdam. The Jordaan used to be a real working-class area, it has a colorful past. Colorful it still is, given the many nice little stores, cafes and restaurants in the cozy streets.

We offer a guided boat tour through the Jordaan. Book directly and select your own desired time slot for your departure.

Did you know….

Rembrandt spent the last years of his life in the Jordaan, on the Rozengracht canal.
He was buried in the Westerkerk church, at the corner of
Rozengracht and Prinsengracht, just beyond the Jordaan.

THE walking route

At the end of the boat tour we will drop you back off at the starting point of the Jordaan Experience on the Prinseneiland.

The subsequent walking tour ends, depending on your own pace and stops, back on the Prinseneiland as well. 

Frequently Asked Questions

Per person, the entire tour costs €70. 

In case of bad weather, a new date will be scheduled. 

Both the starting and ending point is the Prinseneiland located in the Jordaan. 

Both the sailing and walking route take place in the Jordaan. We are not going to give away much more about this. The discovery is up to you.

Yes, the captain is also the guide and can tell you everything about the city and its history. 

We offer a complimentary welcome drink (glass of white wine, prosecco or soft drink). Additional beverages and snacks can be catered for with advance notice. Just let us know what you would like to have. 

Life jackets are available especially for children.
